Thursday 6th April
1830 - 2100Evening Reception @ BrewDog Pub, 1400 Argyle St, Glasgow G3 8AN [MAP]
Aperitifs and h'orderves during a casual reception. Try a variety of local ales, beers, IPAs & stouts from breweries from around Scotland and the UK. Dinner can be purchased in Brew Dog or at nearby restaurants.
 
Friday 7th April
0900 - 1730 Workshop @ Wolfson Medical Building, University of Glasgow G12 8QQ [MAP]
Registration from 0830. Lunch and afternoon poster reception with canapes is included.
 
1830 - 2100 Evening Reception @ Curler's Rest, Byres Road, Westend, Glasgow G12 8SH [MAP]
Dinner can be purchased in Curler's Rest or at nearby restaurants.

A celebration of Information Retrieval


Held in Glasgow just before the start of ECIR 2017 in Abderdeen, we'll be having a workshop with invited speakers focussing on new and emerging topics in IR.

Attendence is welcome to: members of SICSA institutions, and invited members of the information retrieval community.

How much does it cost?

Attending the workshop on 7th is free (thanks to our sponsors!). There is also no cost associated to the bus trip to Aberdeen, except for tours of the attractions.
